Yorba Park

After my run yesterday David wanted to take the kids to the park to have them ride scooters. It had been raining all week and yesterday was the only non rain day before the next storm coming in.

10K run

This morning I was up before everyone in the house. For this run I didn't have to go far. It's been raining here for a few days and yesterday I rained most of the day with high winds. So that meant It was gonna be a cold morning. And it was. It was still windy when I left at 6am. By the time I got there the wind had stopped, mostly. This run wasn't a big one. Maybe a few hundred. They had a 5K to, which had more people. My goal was to finish under an hour and hopefully shave off some of my time from my last 10K. I did. However the last 2 miles my knee hurt so I could have done better. Im so sad. Oh well. I finished in 57:05. This run was way more long and boring compared to my others. No one on the streets, no water stations, and straight and mostly flat. Only a small incline at the mile 4-5. The snow covered mountains were nice though. I probably wouldn't do it again but it was fun. My next run will be In February in Florida! I can't wait. Oh and the last pic of the papers with names. It says I came in 8th place in my Division.

Laundry helper

The other day I was Just taking the trash out when I heard the Dryer buzzer go off. Apparently so did Mr.B. I turned the corner to this. Of course I had to get a pic. I asked him what he was doing and he said " Laundry's done"...Thanks B!

Ohhhhh Wednesday

Yesterday was fun....ya, no. It started with me picking up B from school earlier the Cambria ( she had a class after school ) and I walked so he could ride his scooter home. Then that night we had Ballet. I thought I left my phone at home but turns out it just fell in between my seat and I didn't know. So no pic's from Ballet. However It was then that Cambria started saying her ear hurt SO bad and was crying and and acting like she was dying. So I took B home, had her change her clothes then found my phone and took her to urgent care. 30 min drive to wait for 3 hours. Ya no. So I went back towards home. 1 1/2 wait. A little better. She was cranky and tired and worried she was gonna get a shot. Even though I told her a million times she wasn't she did not believe or want to listen to me. And the inevitable happened. Right before they call us in she decides to throw up all over the lobby. Yup. Of course then they rushed us to the back room. Waited another 3o min's then was told she looked fine. No ear ache, No sore throat, no nothing. Basically she needed to pop her ears but didn't know that and was so scared she was gonna get a shot she made herself sick. Yup. That was my night.

RUNDisney's Lightside

The reason I've been MIA is cause I was running...Of course, right? Fridays night I left as soon as David got home and headed to the Disneyland hotel where I spent the night with Bridget and my friend Armando. We checked out the expo, got our bibs, checked into our room and then of course waited forever to get into Trader Sam's for dinner. Bridget and mine's Tradition Before a Disney race. The race started at 5:30AM the next day ( Saturday ) so we got up at 4:30. By the time we all go ready we literally had the next corral pulling up behind us by the time time we got there. We made it in 2 mins before we we set to start. Iy was crazy. None the less I was determined to run the 6 miles in less then an hour. It was an OK race but I felt I could have done better. I came in at 58 min's. The Run was good. Lot's of people of course. They played music along the way. Saw BB8, Storm troopers, Captain Phasma, R2D2 and C3PO, Chewbacca, and a few other's that I didn't see but found out who was there after. Plus lot's of cast members having light saber battle's. Sorry for the blurry pic's, I didn't want to stop to take them so kinda took them along the way. Clearly that didn't work so well. Ha Ha...
