Happy 5th Birthday Mr. B

Today ( the 29th ) Baylen turned 5. Since he wanted to do to Disneyland for his bday we had presents and a Star wars themed dinner ( actually the food was Carls JR cause his new favorite are their chicken stars ) the night before.

Cambria drew him a card. I love you, Them dressed up as star wars characters, His favorite girl character, and Baylen protecting her while they watch fireworks.

Art Class

Last Wednesday Cambria started an Art class on Wednesdays after school. She loves it and Of course B is begging to do it to.

He likes that his teacher Has baseball and hockey stuff though.

First day of school

The kids started school today. Cambria 2nd grade and Baylen started Kindergarten. Cambria had a few people from her old classes and Baylen knew no one. He did cry when It was time to go but in the end he did well. We will see how tomorrow goes.

Haircuts

I took the kids today for Haircuts before school started. Cambria got her first haircut. Yes, I said that right. She's 7 and has never cut it. She didnt want to and It never grows so we weren't in a hurry. She was so afraid she was going to lose her curls. We got 2 inches cut off her's and B got all cleaned up. At the end they gave her a braid, flowers in her hair, glitter, a balloon and B got glitter and a balloon. Later when I got home I found them "pretending" to do hair in the bathroom. Of course Baylen happily went along with it all. Holding his towel and loved getting his hair "washed"... Cambria kept giggling and saying he was so handsome.

Summer rain

A few weeks back we went over to my mom to go swimming. The kids had a blast especially Baylen. He didn't want me to hold him and was swimming around by himself, with floaties of course. We had an inch of rain the day before and were expected some that day but In Orange it was sunny. On the way home ( about 10 miles from it ) It started to pour and once I was in Corona the streets were flooded. We got 2 inch's in 2 days. Which Is nothing for the rest of the world but for California It's like 10 inch's...Ha Ha.
