Cambria's 9th Bday

For Cambria's 9th bday she woke up to Donuts in the Am and a nice lunch date with the family at the American Girl store. She's been begging for a doll forever so this was a nice surprise. She thought we were just looking at the store then we surprised her with a doll. Then we told her to hurry cause we had another stop. The cafe for lunch. hey set us at a nice able with her doll in a chair. Even a setting for her doll that she got to take home. Baylen was offered a doll to use and he said NO WAY! Ha Ha.. By the time we were done and ready to head home it was a nice 3 hour drive for 40 miles. Yup. Friday, LA traffic. ugh! As soon as we got home it was cake and present time!

Happy New Year!

As of every New year, we go to The Grove in LA. This year It was just the kids and I. We got there before noon and it wasn't to crowded. We walked around a bit and of course hit up The American Girl store to see the girl of the year. The kids walked around in there and saw the Girl, Gabrielle put on a performance. By this time B was dying of hunger so we headed to the farmers market to get some food. 4 hours later we headed home, but not before stopping at Sprinkles!

The Grove

I tried posting these yesterday but the wouldn't send to my computer until this morning. Must have been a new years day glitch? Oh well. So as always New Years Day the kids and I went out to LA to The Grove. We met up with my sister and her family for lunch and a little shopping. Of course we went into the American Girl store and some little girl who has been begging for years for one finally got one. She was very excited and screamed in the store and she said she was crying happy tears. Mr B wasn't to excited about going into a girl store but he kept pretty busy with some interactive stuff they had around.

The grove

We did our yearly trip to the grove this year. I picked up my mom after work and we got to LA around 2;30. Right when we meet up with Tracey, Craig, Hannah and her friends Bridget and Christopher also showed up. We ate lunch and walked around. Of course we had to hit up the American girl store. Cambria was so excited when Bridget bought her a mini Caroline doll. After shopping the girls took the kids on the trolley ride down the street before we headed home.
