Food and Wine time at DCA

A couple weekends ago we all went in for the food and wine and to have some fun. We tried a few things, well David tried a bunch but most of it was meat so I didn't get a lot of choices. The kids decorated some chef hat's and while they were doing that we found out there's a kids baking class right next door. We rode some rides and came back. The kids got to work together as a team and bake oatmeal raisin cookies that were healthier. Made with apple sauce instead of sugar. They loved it and got to take a cookie home with them.

Girl scouts

Sunday Cambria and I went to the store for 3 hours and sold the last of our cookies. Cookie season is finally over! Monday there was a meeting. The girls decided to put on a talent show. Cambria did a drawing with some of the girls. When asked to describe it no one wanted to talk but her. She told everyone about it. Then the last act was a science project where the girls made a tornado in a Bottle. Everyone had a blast and the girls got a patch to celebrate!

St. Patrick's Day

Today's St Patty's day started with green of course. They had Lucky Lunch with a loved one at school. David was off today and he got to go to. Cambria and I sold Girl Scout cookies after school for 3 hours then I came home to make Corned Beef for everyone.

Girl Scout's

Last weekend The girls got to sell some cookies and help out with a local run. It had poured the day before and was a little misty in the morning so It was more of a mud run but the girls had a blast! They got to hand out water bottles and medal's to all the finishers.
