    These are sweet. Careful with the plant though. I'm pretty sure they are poisonous if eaten.

    They are saying that is not true anymore. The danger was that a lot of plants in that family are dangerous therefore we avoid the poinsettia. Todays info tells us that you would have to eat a lot of leaves to even feel somewhat ill.

    It also says Amaryllis is Poisonous for childeren not poinsettias.
